About the History Behind Camelot Bowl in Collinsville Illinois
The story of Camelot Bowl has been passed down for five generations. It all started back in the day when my great, great, great grandfather, Frank Hartman, opened and operated Hartman Recreation. This was a two-lane bowling center: easy to manage, but hard to serve everyone who wanted to bowl back in 1912. After Frank, the center was passed down to Charles, his great-grandson Arthur, then Artie, and finally to great-great-grandsons, Brent and Robb. Our family started with two-lane center turned it into a ten-lane creation, and now we are proud to boast 32 lanes as Camelot Bowl.

We offer a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Camelot Bowl is a 32-lane bowling alley that can accommodate companies, groups, leagues, and the individual looking to bowl a game or two. All 32 lanes are equipped with new state-of-the-art automatic scoring systems to keep score of how each player is bowling to prevent scoring errors. We also rent out our lounge space. If you are hosting a bowling party for your child’s birthday, you will have a private place to sit with adults.

About Our Pro Shop in Collinsville Illinois
Just because it says “pro” shop does not mean you need to be a pro to go in. Even average and beginning bowlers may want some special equipment. Come on in and see if anything we offer catches your eye. Our Pro Shop is equipped to sell our patrons bowling balls, bowling ball inserts and grips, bowling bags, bowling shoes, braces and supports, bowlers’ tape, bowling towels, and many other items that you may need to bowl. Sit down, enjoy that slice of pizza, a cold beverage, and watch any sporting event you want. Our lounge has ten big-screen TVs so you never miss a Blues, Cardinals, or, coming in winter of 2020, St. Louis Battlehawks game.
